Before You Join
I’ve never been to one of these. Will I feel out of place? Not at all. Most people arrive a little uncertain the first time — and then wonder why they waited. There’s no performance, no pressure to share, and no “right” way to participate. You’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.
What happens in a gathering? Each month has its own theme and creative invitation. Sometimes we make something with our hands, sometimes we sit with a question, sometimes we simply slow down together. The format varies — some gatherings are on Zoom, some may be in person — but the spirit is always the same: unhurried, warm, and present.
How many people are usually there? These are small, intentional circles limited to 10 people — not large webinars. You’ll be seen, not lost in a crowd.
Is this for artists? It’s for anyone who makes anything — or wants to. If you arrange words, tend a garden, experiment with spices, doodle in the margins of your notebook — that counts. You don’t need to call yourself an artist to belong here.
Registration & Payment
How does the sliding scale work? These gatherings are offered on a sliding scale with a recommended minimum of $10. Choose the amount that feels right for you — genuinely. Every amount is welcome, and no one will ever know what you paid. The sliding scale exists so that cost isn’t what keeps you from showing up.
What if I can’t attend after registering? Please let me know as soon as you can — just email me at mansi@maansee.com. Registrations are non-refundable, but if something comes up, I’ll do my best to welcome you into the next gathering instead.
I paid but didn’t get a confirmation. What now? Check your email for a Stripe receipt first — if you have that, you’re registered. If you’re missing the Zoom link or calendar details, email me at mansi@maansee.com with your payment confirmation and I’ll send you everything you need.
Can I register someone else or buy multiple spots? No. You may only reserve a spot for yourself. but if you want a friend to attend, simply share the link to the event with them and they can register themselves.
On the Day
How do I get my Zoom link? Your Zoom link is on the confirmation page after payment and in the Google Calendar event. Add the event to your calendar when you register, and you’ll have everything you need.
What should I bring? Whatever creative materials you enjoy — pens, watercolors, scraps of paper, thread, a notebook. Or bring nothing at all. Presence counts as making here.
What if I’m running late? Come when you can. The room stays open, and we make space for people to arrive and settle in at their own pace. No explanations needed.
Is captioning available? Can I join audio-only? Zoom’s auto-captioning is available during virtual gatherings. And yes, you’re welcome to join audio-only or keep your camera off — whatever helps you be present in the way that works for you.
About Recordings
Will there be a recording? No. I’ve tried it — replays, self-paced options, flexible ways to join in. And I’ve learned that what makes these gatherings rich can’t be captured in a recording. It’s the live witnessing, the back-and-forth, the energy of people showing up together. That’s where our connections come alive. That’s when we begin to shed, exhale, lean on each other, and keep going.
So these gatherings are live only — a small, intentional circle for those who want to connect in real time.

I don’t see a way to register! This usually means the event is full or there’s a temporary glitch. Try refreshing the page, or email me at mansi@maansee.com to check if spots are still available.
I can’t find my calendar event or Zoom link. Email me at mansi@maansee.com and I’ll resend everything. I keep a list of all registered participants.
I’m having trouble adding the event to my calendar. The “Add to Calendar” link works with most calendar apps — Google, Apple, Outlook. If it’s not cooperating, email me and I’ll send you a manual calendar invite.
